Autofill with suffixesStatus: Standard
Open a new Calc document and set the locale data under tools options Languages to English / US.

Type '1st' into a cell (without the quotes) and press ENTER, Cellcontent changes to 1st .
Select the previously filled cell and point the mouse cursor on the down right hand square of the cell cursor

Click and drag the mouse to the right for about 25 cells. The content should read 2nd 3rd 4th... 21st .

Select the first filled cell and click and drag the mouse down for about 25 cells. The content should read 2nd 3rd 4th... 21st .

Now switch off the Autocorrect option to convert 1st to 1st .

Type '1st' into a cell (without the quotes) and press ENTER, Cellcontent should not  change to 1st .

Select the previously filled cell and point the mouse cursor on the down right hand square of the cell cursor

Click and drag the mouse to the right for about 25 cells. The content should read 2nd 3rd 4th... 21st .

Select the first filled cell and click and drag the mouse down for about 25 cells. The content should read 2nd 3rd 4th... 21st .
